Flora Book is known for her large abstract cuffs, collars, and other sartorial forms that directly relate to the body. For her "Hard Grid" Neckpiece, Book strung tubular and square beads on monofilament to make a simple pattern that reads like a minimalist painting. When worn, the typically "hard" materials become a flexible, changeable sculpture.
