Scarab Inscribed with the Name of Ramesses II

The underside is inscribed with the throne name of pharaoh Ramesses II, Usermaatre (Dynasty 19, ca. 1279-1213 B.C.). The name is set in an oval –a stylized version of the royal cartouche– and surrounded by a rope border.
