Spirally twisted tubular armlet, former goose-head terminals missing
Roman Period
Not on view
The jewel is a spirally twisted hoop with a goose-head terminal. The feathers of the goose are worked at the ends of the hoops just before the heads at the terminals.
Size suggests these are armlets, though it has also been suggested they might be anklets.
