Shabti of Wahibremhebyt, son of Isetweret
Late Period (Saite)
The man named on this shabti has been reasonably dated to the later reign of Amasis based on a long geneaology given on a statue in the Ägyptisches Museum, Berlin. He was a priest of "the one in front of Tjennet," an epithet or manifestation of Ptah or Osiris. His family held many offices that point to the area of Memphis and its cemeteries.
