A winged cobra faces right, stretching both wings out in front of her. The sun disk is placed above and the hieroglyph for gold figures below. Winged beings offer protection and support and based on the sun disk, this uraeus probably represents the cobra goddess Wadjet. She is a protector of the king and gods. One of the known divine epithets of Wadjet is as the protector of the golden falcon (Horus).
