Trade card premiums from the "National Chicle Premiums" series (R311), also called the "Baseball and Football" and "Diamond Stars" series. The set was issued by the National Chicle Company in 1936 to promote Diamond Stars Gum. The set was published on two different types of paper, "glossy" and "leather" (matte) finish. The glossy subset contains 28 cards and the matte set only 15.
