Trade cards from the "Topps Red/ Blue Backs" series (R414-5), issued in 1951 by Topps Gum Company. The series was released in two sets of 52 cards each. The card versos of the first set, called the "Red Backs," display a baseball graphic in red ink. The card versos of the second set, the "Blue Backs," repeats the same graphic printed in blue ink. This card is from the numbered "Red Backs" set.
