This print reproduces one of a set of designs commissioned from Rigaud in 1789 by the 4th Early of Abingdon to complement a musical piece he had written on Mary's final hours and death. Rigaud's drawing for the print was exhibited at the Royal Academy, London in 1791 and is now unlocated.
