Woman's theatrical costume with semi-abstract floral pattern

1933–39
Not on view
Drawing, design for a woman's costume, part of a group of 88 costume designs by Vincente Minnelli. The costume consists of wide, hip-length top with semi-abstract floral patterns in shades of purple and green on a white ground, cinched at the waist with a thin, brown sash, and wide-leg green pants. It is possible that the design was intended for pajamas.
