Drawing, study of a woman's costume, part of a group of 88 costume designs by Vincente Minnelli. The design consists of a Victorian ball gown with ruffles and floral details. The female figure represented wearing the dress has her hair up, adorned with a tiara, and holds a fan in her left hand. A necklace with a medallion hangs around her neck. Notes from Vincente Minnelli in 1978 specify that this costume was created for the production 'Ziegfeld Follies [of 1936].'
