Theatrical costume for Beatrice Lillie as a boy in "At Home Abroad"

Drawing, design for a boy's costume, part of a group of 88 costume designs by Vincente Minnelli. The costume consists of a long, red jacket over a yellow shirt and blue shoers with black suspenders, a yellow worn hat and black ankle boots. Notes from Vincente Minnelli in 1978 specify that this costume was created for Beatrice Lillie in 'At Home Abroad,' produced for the Shulmans and performed in Broadway in 1935.
