Not on view

For more information on the Wilton album see entry for 27.78.1(1-428)
The largest of the three etchings executed by Vanni. The composition appears to be related to an untraced painting by Vanni and a version of it was also engraved by Agostino Carracci (B. XVIII.70.67). A preparatory drawing for the musical angel at Windsor (inv. no. 990249). For the relationship between Vanni's etching and Carracci's engraving see Marciari and Boorsch 2013, pp. 105-109
