Your House
Eliasson has related the process of reading a book to that of walking through a building, both being physical, mental, and experiential activities. In Your House, he has created a model of his own house outside of Copenhagen, with laser-cut pages representing a vertical cross section of the building realized on a scale of 1:85. Turning the pages reveals architectural details—such as stairs, windows, door frames, wood panels, and ceiling designs—that appear and disappear, as if one were physically navigating the rooms and levels of the structure.
