Cartouche-shaped plaque with the names of Apries
This cartouche-shaped plaque bears two of the names of Apries: one one side is his birth name, Wahibre; on the other is his throne name, Haaibre (hellenized as Apries). Found on top of an undisturbed foundation deposit of Thutmose III, this was part of a dedication made by Apries when he carried out construction within the Osiris temple precinct at Abydos.
