David Playing the Harp, from "Scenes from the Life of King David"
One of 48 engravings, the series 'Scenes from the Life of King David,' was made by Johannes Sadeler I and other unidentified engravers and was originally published in 1575 in Antwerp. Later, the engravings were featured in Schabaelje's 'Emblemata Sacra' from 1654.
