Adoniah's Banquet, from "Scenes from the Life of King David"
One in a series of 48 engravings, 'Scenes from the Life of King David,' made by Johannes Sadeler I and other unidentified engravers and were originally published in 1575 in Antwerp. Later, the engravings were featured in Schabaelje's 'Emblemata Sacra' from 1654.
