Restrike of plate 76 from a series of 106 plates by Israel Silvestre and François Chauveau, published in 1670. The series depicts jousting festivities given by Louis XIV at the Tuileries, June 5, 1662, in which nobles dressed as Persians, Americans, Romans and Turks.
