Selection of 467 postcards mainly depicting the American West and California
Selection of 467 out of 1302 postcards donated by Richard Marshall in 2015. This selection consists of scenes from the American West and California in particular, including city views, architecture, agriculture, industry, and landscape. 100 of the postcards are kept in a small gray box. Others are stored in two postcard booklets; one pertaining to California missions, and the other pertaining to Los Angeles, California landmarks. The remaining postcards include two copper postcards and a solitary postcard titled "Greetings from California" that contains a small dirt sample inside.
