Illustration with a design for a female riding costume, part of the 56th issue of the "Journal des dames et des modes", published in Paris on December 10, 1913. The illustration features a woman wearing an all-black riding costume made up of a narrow, hip-length jacket and matching, narrow, ankle-lenght skirt. A white shirt and yellow gilet are worn under the jacket, and she wears gray accessories: a hat, gloves and riding boots. She holds a brown and gray riding crop in one of ther hands. She stands on a field with trees that have lost their leaves.
