14th plate of album with 60 19th-century costume plates and 1 drawing of mostly women's historical costumes, featuring a variety of designs for traditional costumes from different parts of the world, as well as costumes for literary characters, including Esmeralda. This plate consists of a woman wearing a costume for a female jockey, made up of a striped dress with red and light blue vertical stripes and red neck, cuffs and belt, with a light blue apron, worn over light blue pantaloons and black boots. She wears a light blue riding hat on her head, cream gloves, and black riding boots. She holds a long, thin, black riding crop in one hand.
