44th plate of album with 60 19th-century costume plates and 1 drawing of mostly women's historical costumes, featuring a variety of designs for traditional costumes from different parts of the world, as well as costumes for literary characters, including Esmeralda. This plate consists of a woman wearing a costume for a Soubrette, made up of a red dress with black borders with small, semi-abstract garlands with flowers and leaves, executed with green, pink and copper, and a black apron with similar floral motifs and scalloped edges, and with a blue ribbon rosette with two hanging tails to the left side of the apron. She wears black stockings and low-heeled boots.
