51st plate of album with 60 19th-century costume plates and 1 drawing of mostly women's historical costumes, featuring a variety of designs for traditional costumes from different parts of the world, as well as costumes for literary characters, including Esmeralda. This plate consists of a woman wearing a costume made up of a cream dress with golden scrolling motifs, with a diagonal band across the chest and several layers of blue, pink and yellow strips of fabric adorning the skirt, decorated with pairs of canes arranged to form X-shapes, a blue hat with yellow and pink details and hanging golden beads, a pink and a blue stocking, and a pink and a blue shoe. She wears long, white gloves on her arms, and holds a long, brown cane on one hand.
