Print representing the month October, from a series devoted to the twelth months of the year, divided in three sets of four prints. Each print consists of a rectangular frame showing scenes with activities related to the individual months. The associated star signs are included in small cartouches on the top of the frame. Below the frames there is a four line poem in French which characterize the month. The poem on this print refers to October as the harvest month for grapes, the sweet gift of Bacchus.
