Fifth plate of album with 20 pochoir pattern plates with designs for textiles and carpets, titled "Suggestions pour étoffes et tapis: 60 motifs en couleur" (Suggestions for stuffs and carpets: 60 color motifs), created by E.A. Séguy and published in Paris by Massin & Cie in 1923. The plate contains four designs with semi-abstract motifs inspired from nature, executed with lively colors. The first design is made up of bundles of semi-abstract flowers, colored with green, blue, and brown, on a background with blue rectangles with green spots, separated by thin, undulating, horizontal, green lines, framed by two vertical, green stripes with offsetting thorns, which are in turn placed between two thinner, brown vertical stripes. The second design is made up of alternating strips of semi-abstract cornucopias, colored with shades of purple, dark blue, and brown, separated by undulating strips of semi-abstract leaves, colored with purple, and with thin, white stripes with strips of blue dots running through their middle, on a white ground. The third design is made up of thin, vertical, undulating branches, colored with dark blue and white, with offsetting scrolling branches with large, teardrop-shaped leaves, colored with dark blue and brown, and bundles of flowers, made up of overlapping rings of shades of purple and blue, on a bright blue ground. The fourth design is made up of a purple roundel with a wreath, colored with blue and green, holding a bundle of large, semi-abstract roses, colored with two shades of purple, and smaller semi-abstract leaves, colored with brown and outlined with green.
