Fifth plate of album with 20 pochoir pattern plates, titled "Samarkande: 20 Compositions en couleurs dans le Style oriental" (Samarkand: 20 Color Compositions in the Oriental Style), created by E. A. Séguy and published in Paris by Charles Massin around 1914, presenting an ornamental design, probably for textiles or wallpapers, with semi-abstract flower motifs, inspired on the Oriental styles created by the artists of Samarkand. The design is made up of interlacing branches with leaves, colored with black, dark blue, and pastel green, and abstract flowers, colored with black, with stylized butterflies, colored with orange and green, and with small, pastel green spots, standing on the flowers.
