Sixteenth plate of album with 20 pochoir pattern plates, titled "Samarkande: 20 Compositions en couleurs dans le Style oriental" (Samarkand: 20 Color Compositions in the Oriental Style), created by E. A. Séguy and published in Paris by Charles Massin around 1914, presenting an ornamental design, probably for textiles or wallpapers, with semi-abstract flower motifs, inspired on the Oriental styles created by the artists of Samarkand. The design consists of alternating rows of large, stylized, exotic, round flowers, made up of overlapping scales, colored with pink, flanked by scrolling branches, colored with purple, with small leaves, colored with gold, on a dark purple ground.
