Translucent purple, appearing black, opaque white, yellow, light blue, and red.

Thin, flat sections.

Mosaic pattern formed from polygonal sections of a single cane in a purple ground containing a ring of yellow rods and surrounding a central rosette pattern outlined in white with six blue petals and a central red dot. Canes of different sizes, some distorted.

Fragment (a) made up of two slices cut down into an elongated hexagon and backed by two thin layers of modern glass; fragment (b) made up of four slices (two are mirror images) cut into an irregular shape and backed by one layer of modern colorless glass; both with polished upper surfaces, pitting, and on (a) multiple surface cracks.
