Not on view

The queen wears her coronation robes and the Diamond Diadem, and stands on a terrace next to a table that supports the British royal regalia–the orb, sceptre and crown–with Windsor Castle seen in the right background. Based on a painting by Chalon, the wood engraving was issued as supplement to "The Pictorial Times," a London weekly issued March–January 1848. The collection also includes a similarly sized portrait print of Prince Albert, the queen's consort (18.17.1-46) from the same journal.
