Not on view
The vase is shaped in an elongated version of the meiping that was often used at Dehua and other kilns in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. It is decorated with raised designs on the neck and on the body. A series of clouds or ruyi on the neck are used to enhance the lip and the mouth. Two lions’ heads decorate the vase as well as two scenes showing blossoming plums and birds. There are no marks or inscriptions on the vase.
