Spring Dunes

Babs Haenen Dutch

Not on view

The tactility and fluidity evident in Spring Dunes are hallmarks of Haenen’s work. Haenen creates the paper-thin walls and cavities by adding slabs of colored porcelain to a sensual vessel shape. This iterative process of merging color and form results in abstract passages that recall everything from landscapes to textiles.
