Untitled

Stanley Rosen American

Not on view

Rosen’s process of hand-building is unconventional: here, he applied small coils one at a time, such that the work is a sum of many parts. The sculpture has a rare organicism, its stacked rows suggesting accumulation over time, giving the work balance beyond symmetry.
