Not on view
The sleek minimalism of this linen suit heralds the pared down aesthetic and clean slate of the upcoming decade, in a time when broad-shouldered silhouettes were still the norm. Calvin Klein's longtime artistic director, Zack Carr, was known for his deep knowledge of fashion history and references to specific shapes and colors of past eras. Like Yves Saint Laurent's 1966 tuxedo, this suit represents an adaptation of male attire to the female body.
