An elegant couple in the foreground stop to speak to one of the hunters, who has a string of hares around his neck. In the middle distance other men use guns and a cross bow to get their prey.


Three of the ten etchings, including the present work, are by Claes Jansz. Visscher, and seven by Pieter Serwouters.
