Balenciaga's majestic, streamlined silhouette in chlorophyll green is ever so lightly perforated with abstracted floral forms in this example of eyelet embroidery. A spring green captures the air and transparency that had punctured Edwardian spring and summer dresses. Balenciaga's modernism enables the same zephyrs of springtime.
