This design features a Japanese motif of an anemone flower. A single poppy raises its petals, silhouetted by a generously gold stamped moon. During this period Armstrong modified her typography, including a new capital R with an elegant, sweeping tail as seen here. This is one of the last book covers she designed before turning her creative attention to drawing and writing.
