Three Kingdoms period (57 BCE–676 CE)

On view at The Met Fifth Avenue in Gallery 233

This jar is lighter in color than typical pottery of Three Kingdoms Period. While light ceramics were made in quantity during the period, darker grey pottery pieces are far more common. This jar is further embellished with an overall, impressed pattern.
