Walden
Not on view
Like Calderon's Prisoner and Through South America, this book uses textured gold to create a shimmering cover design for Thoreau’s masterpiece. The oval title is framed by a pea vine motif alluding to Thoreau’s self-sufficiency at Walden where he grew peas, corn, potatoes, and turnips.
