Within a border of simulated stone elements and leaves, this music cover offers a glimpse into the interiors of Horace Walter's Great Piano and Music Establishment which stood at 333 Broadway, north of White Street in lower Manhattan. A spacious piano showroom occupies the second floor where men and women inspect and play the instruments. On the first floor smaller pianos, guitars and harps are displayed and a crowd gathers at two front counters to buy sheet music stacked on partitioned shelves that reach to the ceilng.
