Peter Aldor Hungarian

This is one of the first Holocaust publications printed after the war. It consists of eighteen drawings in caricaturist style by Dachau survivor Péter Áldor and a foreword by survivor poet and translator József Fodor. The cover image is titled "Loth" in Hungarian ("loath" in English, meaning reluctant or unwilling). Áldor was a Hungarian mechanical engineer who traveled to Latin America after the war and obtained Colombian citizenship. In addition to working for Colombian magazines and newspapers, he also contributed to international publications including the Herald Tribune, The Washington Daily News, and The New York Times.
