Woman and Child (Maternity), from "Eight Studies by Mexican Masters of Graphic Arts" (1952)
This print was used for the poster and catalogue of the Mexican Prints Exhibition at the gallery of the China Artists Association in Shuaifuyuan Hutong in Beijing in 1956 (March 18–April 4). The exhibition was organied by the Taller de Gráfica Popular (Mexico City) and contained 273 prints by artists associated with the Workshop. The image was also used for a poster (Women Against War) ¡Prohibid las bombas atómicas! ¡Suspended las pruebas que amenazan nuestras vidas! Asamblea Nacional por la Paz. México, D.F. 31 de mayo y 1o de junio de 1957 (TGP 1957).
