Tobacco insert from Playing Cards (C166) distributed by Macdonald Tobacco Company, Montreal to promote British Consuls' Daily Mail or Skyways cigarettes. Produced from ca.1939–1948 to support Canadian troops in Europe during WWII. 53 cards for each year of distribution. Blue toned card with red, white and blue banner. Airplane pictured on front with name of plane printed at lower border. Various backs include playing cards, "Product Export" or "Legion" or text.
