Domino game in book form
Miniature game containing thirty-six dominoes in a case carved of solid wood with a sliding lid. The top back and lid are inlaid with geometric patterns in a combination of two different wood species and bone. All three bone sides are mounted in grooves. The domino stones are mostly cut from solid bone, with cut lines and drilled dimples all toned for contrast using a brown translucent colorant. Eight of the domines appear to be replacements.. -- description by Mindell Dubansky in consultation with Lynn Heckman
