This drawing contains an elevation and various sections of a fireplace surround with several variations for the proportions and decorative details. Differences are introduced on the left and right side in the height of the molding as well as in the carved motif that frames the top of the hearth. Various measurements are given throughout and a scale is added below the drawing.
