Elevation of a Marble Tower Turret at Lyndhurst for George Merritt, Tarrytown, New York
This drawing shows an elevation of a turret for the tower of Lyndhurst. The body of the turret is decorated with tracery in a diamond pattern, each divided in three parts by protruding trefoils. According to a note on the sheet, additional tracery is omitted. A modern note references Pugin volume I as a possible model for the design.
