Robert Crumb is celebrated for revolutionizing underground comics that present a subversive view of American folk culture. He has been praised as one of the most significant comic artists of the 20th century, yet his influence extends beyond the comic world. The art critic Robert Hughes described him as "the Brueghel of the last half of the 20th century." Recently Crumb has worked with the celebrated print shop Two Palms to create etchings based on his drawings, such as this.
