Unlike most companies specializing in skirts for men, the Swiss-based AMOK shows seasonal collections with regular runway presentations. While AMOK argues for the skirt on the basis of comfort and practicality, it focuses more on its aesthetic merits. As Sandra Kuratle, its creative director, comments, "The skirt for men is more than a political statement: men wearing skirts are not only self-confident and courageous. In the first place they wear the skirt as a beautiful, fashionable and elegant garment, which will shape the future appearance of men beyond short-term trends."
