This Bulletin is dedicated to a discussion of Jean Pucelle, an outstanding Parisian illuminator of the early fourteenth century, whose name has been connected with two illuminated manuscripts in the collection of The Met Cloisters: the Hours of Jeanne d' Evreux and the Prayer Book of Bonne of Luxembourg. Six essays discuss these two manuscripts and Pucelle's work more broadly as one of the few illuminators known by name active in 1300s France.
