Know Before You Go
Met Members and their guest(s) enjoy expedited entry to the galleries. Present your Member card at any gallery entrance after passing through a security check. See additional tips for visiting below.
Member Portal Login Join or Renew Today
- Individual and Global Members may bring up to 1 guest.
- Dual and Family Members may bring up to 2 guests.
- Enthusiast and Ambassador Members and all Patrons may bring up to 4 guests.
Member guests do not need to wait in the ticketing line and may enter the galleries with the Member cardholder(s).
Members are welcome to enter through the 81st Street Member Entrance on the ground floor.
If you have not already received your digital Member card by email, please reach out to us at 212-570-3753 or membership@metmuseum.org.
Your physical Member card will continue to work as long as your Membership is active. The digital card is optional and designed for added convenience.
Our main store will be closed until 2027. Until then, Members can shop our latest art-inspired designs at temporary locations throughout The Met Fifth Avenue. View current Met Store locations here.
The Members-only restaurant on the second floor is open to Members at the Dual level and above. Check the menu here.
