Spark imagination, creativity, and lifelong connections with art at The Met! Sign up for virtual and in-person classes taught by experienced educators and teaching artists. These classes meet once a week for eight weeks. Spring classes begin in March 2023.

Register for spring 2023 classes online! Member priority registration begins Wednesday, February 1, 2023, 10 am (ET). Registration for non-Members begins Wednesday, February 8, 2023, 10 am (ET). Space is limited and classes fill quickly. Registration closes Wednesday, March 1, 2023, 5 pm (ET), or when classes fill. The Museum reserves the right to cancel a class at any time due to insufficient enrollment. In the event that we must cancel, we will issue a refund. Dive into stories, songs, and art activities with The Met.

Build drawing skills, including observation, composition, perspective, and shading, and create your own works inspired by objects at The Met.
Saturday, 1:30–3:30 pm
Get creative while discovering art in The Met collection! Experiment with different materials and learn about art concepts.
Tuesday, 3:30–5:30 pm
Mix your own paints and learn a variety of techniques used in works of art in the Museum.
