三王礼拝

物語の描写、豊かな色彩、そして視覚的な模様の使い方は、このガラス窓を作った宮廷工房特有の様式です。紫色の衣を着た聖母が、聖子とともにわら布団の上に座り、その傍らでは動物がえさを食べています。豪奢な衣装を着た3人の王が金の贈物を捧げ、そのうちひとりはひざまづいて王冠をはずし、ひれ伏しています。エブライヒスドルフ城は、モンゴル族の襲撃に対する防衛のために建てられましたが、その後平和な時代にルドルフ・フォン・ティーナ(1406年没)が円形に取り巻くステンドグラスのある礼拝堂を増築しました。トルコ兵によって1683年に略奪されたこの城は、その後中世の栄光を取り戻すことはありませんでした。ウィーンにある1枚のパネル以外には、キリストの生涯の7場面を表したクロイスターズ収蔵のステンドグラスと、石造の天蓋のみが現存しています。
